The Enemy

Tech

Putting up a web site is not expensive and not awfully difficult. Here are the services we engaged. Both have given good service.

Domain name registration: Cheap-DomainRegistration.com .  $8.10/yr.  Management interface works fine.  Records went out quickly.

Web hosting: Digital Space Corp .  Server responds fast.  Staff has responded in a timely, friendly, and striaghtforward way to any questions.  Includes a shell account, FTP access (FTP works for us from Linux but fails from Windows XP for some reason), mail forwarding or storage, and other features.  We use the "Starter" service, at $36/yr.

(Zero Labs offers web hosting service at $10/yr. One of us uses Zero Labs for a personal site. Zero's service does not include a shell account.)
